THE FAT DISSOLVING INJECTION

INJECTION LIPOLYSIS

Injection lipolysis is a popular method for removing fat deposits. It can be applied precisely to the face, for example, for double chins, sagging cheeks, or larger areas such as the stomach, buttocks, and thighs.

The active ingredient phosphatidylcholine is injected directly into the fat tissue, where it causes the fat cells to disintegrate. The decomposition products are broken down and excreted by the body. The procedure may be performed 2 to 4 times, spaced eight weeks apart, and yields enduring results after several weeks. Additionally, injection lipolysis effectively addresses inconsistencies from prior fat reduction procedures, such as liposuction or cryolipolysis.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Fat dissolving injections, also known as injection lipolysis, are a minimally invasive treatment for reducing fat deposits without surgery, thus avoiding scarring. This method is particularly effective for small fat deposits on the face or body, as it causes targeted inflammation that dissolves the fat.

When used properly, the fat-away injection is considered a safe and effective method with low risk. Typical side effects include swelling and pain similar to sore muscles. Very rarely, allergic reactions to the active substance used or fatty tissue necrosis may occur.

For optimum results, two to three lipolysis sessions are usually required at 6 to 8 weeks. The effect becomes visible after the swelling has subsided. In around 10% of cases, however, the fat dissolving injection does not achieve the desired results, possibly due to resistance to the combination of active ingredients.
